My Raw Food Breakfast

I was in debate about actually posting what I eat most mornings lol; however, there might be some people that would like it as well.

Mix together:
– half an apple, chopped
– a spoonful of chopped pecans
– a spoonful of golden raisins
– a spoonful of unsweetened coconut flakes

Also, I soak the pecans and raisins in water for about 10 minutes before (draining then) adding them to the apple. This helps make them a little softer. I sometimes sprinkle cinnamon on the apple but the coconut adds sweetness to this already. I also like eating this as a snack before a run.

Oh I forgot to add that I’ll leave out the cocunut, add the cinnamon and some nutmeg to the dish to have this taste more like apple pie 🙂 Yum!
